A godaddy domain is just your web address. You need a host server to run your website so this is a mandatory step.
Step 3: Connect Your Host and Domain
Once you get your domain and hosting, it’s time to connect the two.
- Go to your email inbox to access your Hostgator account information.
- You should see your nameserver information there
- Now, you want to go to your Godaddy account and access your DNS manager
- Click to add custom nameserver information
- Paste in the nameservers from Hostgator
- Click save
This might take a little while to connect. So give it 10-30 minutes.
Step 4: Install WordPress
Step 5: Customize Your Website
Now the fun begins!
