It’s been a little while since we updated but with the new iphone 6 and 6+ launch, there is no better time to declare…

Mobile technology isn’t going anywhere!

With all this talk about wearable technology and what not, it was easy to get caught up in the idea that everyone is moving away from mobile phones to watches and other wearables (glasses and yada yada).

But when you are seeing headlines that “Apple Sells 10 Million iPhone 6 And 6 Plus Devices During Launch Weekend” from Techcrunch you have to believe mobile is not going anywhere, anytime soon!

I’m sure there will be a shift eventually but will it be as quick and smooth as transitioning over to a smart phone was? As I look around me, I don’t see many people wearing watches nor glasses. So will they in the future? Only time will tell.

Until then, stay the course and build things out on mobile. There are still some amazing things that we have yet to see come from smartphones (so I believe!).

Shout out to…the person that got hosting through our Hostgator link. Wow! I didn’t even know people visited this page since I’m not really active on this page or trying to acquire traffic.

On a sadder note, the nyctechclub has wittled back down to 1 or 1.5 members. One of the sharpest xcoders I know is moving to Jacksonville to create his own ios app development course. I’m excited to see how things turn out.

As for an update over here, I’m in the process of getting a 15 inch MBP retina that is just going to be killer. My passive income site continues to generate 300+ visitors a day and I am testing out new ways to convert my traffic. It’s been a great journey so far that has allowed me to help people while learning a new skill set.

I’m optimistic about the rest of the year and 2015!
